The next book in the Elite Response Force series was a real page-turner for me. Another excellent, exciting book by PR Adams. As usual for Adams, the story is well written and riveting, with excellent characters, dialog and pacing. The story follows Col Lonnie Myers and Corporal Rebecca Starling, who have had their consciousness placed in artificial bodies aboard a ship racing to find and fight an AI enemy. The ship is captained by an adversary of the colonel and is carrying several old Earth government military units, ostensibly to go fight the AI, but they all have their own agendas that the colonel most deal with.
