She had a good family beginning, she just got her degree, her dad is a cop who hates the SWAT guys, and she doesn't know she's a werewolf. So of course they are fated mates. Add in some nasty killers who are out to destroy all werewolves and have her name on their list, and you have a brief of the basics of the plot. Painful subjects are handled exceptionally well, and the characters are engaging and intriguing. I really liked this book.

WOLF HUNGER is a very exciting book with non-stop action, suspense and sexy wolf cops! I absolutely loved this book! I was immediately pulled into the story by Max and Lana’s first meeting. They have great chemistry. I am SO in love with Max! He’s a strong, protective alpha with a romantic side and I was falling hard and fast for the hunky wolf! Lana is a strong and confident heroine and she paired well with Max. I really enjoyed their story! The mystery/suspense side of the book is dangerous and deadly as the threat of the hunters begins escalating. We’re talking primo Die Hardish style action. I couldn’t read it fast enough! In the background of all this craziness, there’s a hint of a new relationship or two or maybe more! I know I’m looking forward to reading more stories! On a more serious note, Ms. Tyler does an amazing job of bringing the issue of domestic violence to the forefront. Not necessarily putting it on display but showing the strength and the courage of survival and the real-life struggles in carrying the scars—both mentally and physically—of domestic violence. WOLF HUNGER is a well-rounded story full of excitement, suspense, danger, humor, struggle, strength and so much more! Did I mention the sexy wolf cops? 😉 If you haven’t checked out the SWAT series by Paige Tyler yet, what are you waiting for? I highly recommend every book in the series!
