After the life-changing events of Christmastide, the Lyons Pride is attempting to move forward. Romance, however, is on Lord Gervase’s mind as he plans a special celebration for his beloved Margaret on Twelfth Night. This was a very short story but followed on charmingly from 'Devices and Desires', which was the first in the series. It flowed well & the characterisation was true to the novel. I really enjoyed what I felt was a long epilogue Epiphany Tilda James is an impeccable lady’s maid to Lady Bellamy. Simon Farnsworth is an ideal valet to Lord Gervase. Both agree that their employers are perfect for each other and decide to encourage their budding romance. This was the longer novella & was a lovely seasonal read, it was obvious what was going to happen quite early on but the journey was captivating. It was original to have two servants as the main characters & I found that originality refreshing. Simon & Tilda are two hardworking efficient servants who try their best to give their employers a HEA but in doing so find themselves enjoying each others company. My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
