3 1/2 STARS This mythological fantasy romance hits the sweet spot with a fantastic tale. This steady paced plot gives the reader shivers as they follow the romantic journey to true love’s conquest. The author brings the story to life with vivid imagery and details that capture the imagination and the strong charismatic characters are easily related to and have the reader wanting to know more. The attraction between Pan and Syrinx burns hot enough to singe the reader throughout the story, but this romance is not an easy conquest for the charming Pan as he going to have to work hard and romance this one and maybe discover something more than he ever considered before. Syrinx stays true to what she believes in, but this journey teaches her that just maybe her life could mean something more. The author conveys the emotions and passions of the couple with vibrant intensity that captivates the reader’s heart and has them empathizing with both couples as they learn the true meaning of love. The author’s twist to the Greek mythological gods is fascinating and sweet. and just what the reader ordered if they believe that happily ever after.
