In numerous ancient cultures, poets were seen as individuals who possessed a special connection to the Divine. These are poems that help interpret the teachings of the Divine into the language of children. Jesus famously instructs His disciples to allow the little children to come to Him and if one is to enter into the Kingdom of God one must come as a child. The poems in this publication allow children to experience the presence of Christ and understand the teachings of Christ in an exciting new format. About the author
Deadra Neary is an educator, pastor’s wife, and musician. She is a lifelong resident of Poplarville, Mississippi. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. Throughout her years in education, she was recognized for her achievements and won numerous awards, and was named Teacher of the Year in 1998 in the Poplarville School District. She currently teaches Sunday School and leads the music at Temple Baptist Church, Bogalusa, Louisiana.
