Pass with Distinction Secondary 1 Express Mathematics (By Topic) is specially written for students who wish to score excellent grades in their examinations. Based on the latest 2013 syllabus, it contains topical tests that serve to reinforce students� understanding of concepts and their ability to apply them to solve mathematical problems and problems in real-world contexts.
There are six tests in each topic and the number of marks for each question is included as a guide to the amount of time that a student should spend on each question, approximately 1.5 minutes for each mark. Answers are provided at the end of the book. Step-by-step solutions are included in a separate booklet.
We believe that the tests in this book serve as assessments as learning where students think strategically, consciously reflecting on their thinking processes and developing confidence in mathematics. It is hoped that this book will give students an edge in their forthcoming examinations.
