Not sure why we have to go back in time to discover where the Nihil come from but I guess because the Skywalker Saga had a Prequel Trilogy we have to have one too, one issue is this isn't a Trilogy. OK, story about the dangers of brainwashing cults.

The YA novels finally got back on track! What an introduction to phase two. This feels more focused, centered almost. There aren't multiple unrelated stories, but a few main characters with interwoven journeys that make sense. As always with the High Republic, the conversations about the force are some of my personal highlights.

'Path of Deceit'-was good reading.Wether you were sensitive to the Force or not. A person was identified as Path or Jedi. The droid called C-9 was an interesting character.Star Wars is Good Reading.
