About this ebook

Austin Pritchard thought he knew who he was.

After he was named the head of JSOC, his path in life was set for him. Until he went rogue to save one of his only friends—and his sister.

Now, Austin's drifting. Without a purpose.

What happens when a man with nothing to lose meets a woman hunted by the worst of humanity?

He risks his life to save her, of course.

This is the first book in the Gone Rogue series. This series ties in closely with the Away From Keyboard series, though each Gone Rogue book can be read as a standalone.

Anyone who has read any of the Away from the keyboard series by this talented author knows that Patricia grabs you from almost the very first page Her alpha male and females heroes are not only kick arse but they are also broken and damaged and all to human and in this a spin off from that series the heroes are just the same. We met Major General Austin Pritchard (Stars and Stripes) in Call Sign Redemption when he went rogue from his command at JASOC to save Trevor and Dani in Venezuela and that started the spiral that leads to this book. Under reprimand for unauthorised action in another country he is sent to Pakistan supposedly to visit his troops This leads to enemy action where only two survive him and a young CIA officer (his story will be Rogue Officer)who loses and arm and his hearing. Unable to stand what is happening Austen hands in his resignation and decides to walk the Maya trail in Mexico hoping to find himself. What he finds is Dr Mikayla Salim a research scientist trying to save a rare orchid whose roots and leaves show promise as a cure/treatment for Parkinson disease. Soon a cat and mouse game will begin as the orchid becomes a prize in corporate espionage and Mikayla finds that the danger is closer to home than she realises Soon Austin has found a new reason to fight, the woman he is growing to love but when danger strikes he will have to call on his friends and family if he is to save them and in the process he will reconnect with the ones who love him.
