About the author

Patricia Grace (Ngati Toa, Ngati Raukawa, Te Ati Awa) is the author of much well-loved and award-winning fiction.  Her novel Dogside Story (2001) won the prestigious Kiriyama Pacific Rim Book Prize for fiction and was long-listed for the Booker Prize.

Patricia Grace's latest novel Tu won the Deutz Medal for Fiction and was winner of the Fiction Category in the Montana New Zealand Book Awards.
