Really, really well written and original. There are so many books about people "suddenly"discovering they have an unexpected ability that most of them read pretty much the same. This is not one of them. Bax is a wonderful character, and the people surrounding him are very real..just like our own friends, neighbors, and family members. I will definitely follow Bax on his journey to learn more about himself, and the adventures to follow.

Really enjoyed this book. Bax, the hero of the story, was a troubled teenager but events following his 18th birthday begin a new phase in his life. The story develops from the realization that he has an unusual superpower and can see events by touching an article belonging to a person. The story develops from this realization. Good story and well crafted, looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

A fantastic story! It's been a long while since I've enjoyed a story this much. I definitely recommend Bax, and am off to buy the next one.
