Patrick Robinson, geboren in Kent/England, schrieb zahlreiche Sachbücher zum Thema Seefahrt und schaffte mit seinem aufsehenerregenden Debüt "Nimitz Class" auf Anhieb den Durchbruch als Romanautor.
