About this ebook

I decided on the title ‘windows” because each poem came to me in a quick burst of energy. The way fresh air hits you when you open a window. Each poem is a window into my soul. You get to feel the emotion as I was experiencing it. I hope you can relate to them in some way. Most of them were about people or situations in my life. Some are just ideas from my imagination. I am not a college educated, literary scholar. I’m just a blue collar guy with an over active imagination. When I get an idea, if it is meant to happen, it just flows out of me. Generally, each poem takes 30 to 60 minutes to compose. Many of them are imperfect. For the most part, I have left them in their original form. The spiritual section portrays the highs and lows of my spiritual journey. The romance section is either the expression of my feelings for someone I cared for, or the idea of what I desire for myself. The miscellaneous section is just that. It is a collection of ideas that don’t fit one of the two primary categories. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
