Es liegt in zwei Rezensionen, einer längeren A und einer kürzeren B, vor; sie gehen auf Eine Urschrift zurück. Da B trotz seiner Kürze alles Wesentliche enthält, verdient es den Vorzug. Im ersten Teil erzählt Henoch seine Himmelsreisen. Im zweiten empfängt er Offenbarungen über die Schöpfungen und die Menschheitsgeschichte bis auf seine Zeit. Der dritte Teil enthält Henochs Lehr- und Mahnreden.
