About this ebook

In this fresh and generous collection of poems, Paul Taylor helps us all get a few things straight:

how to use a pencil,

what to look for at the seaside,

how to watch TV,

what beer can do for you,

how to look on the bright side,

how to be less stupid,

what use is a trombone,

what to do on underground trains,

how to measure wind,

what spoons can do for you,

how to enjoy poetry,

what are those insects doing?

About the author

Paul Taylor writes and performs as a solo artist in a project known as Trombone Poetry.

He works as a freelance musician and runs two irresistible and affordable trios: Click Beetle, which plays his many compositions, and The Blowpipes Trombone Trio, which plays classical and folk music, jazz and whatnot. He has spent many happy years playing in the best Latin bands in Europe and pretending to be Colombian.

News of all these musical and literary activities are chronicled in The Trombonicle.

He lives in Rotherhithe (London, England), hails from Oldham and pines for Hull.
