About the author

Peggy McMahon, a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, has worked with the Alaska Native Medical Center and the Community Health Aide Program for more than 30 years. Her focus has been on prevention and wellness, in the realms of physical, mental, and spiritual health. Peggy is an active member and elder in Anchorage First Christian Church where she has led groups on grieving and loss. Her own maturing spiritual journey, combined with God’s gifts of writing poetic prayer, has led her to write Abba Hear My Prayers, for times I cannot pray myself and Father Hear My Psalms, for times of prayer and praise.
