A mystery as Jane Austen would have written it. Excellent on its own merit with beautiful prose and vocabulary. Good story that promises I hope to get better as each romantic recency novella progresses. As a man I didn't think I'd like her creation but I was pleasantly surprised by its quality. Unlike the "modern" romance novels I've tried at female relatives prodding this series is neither turgid nor vapid or pornographic. Jane Austen would appreciate the careful plotting and attention to character.

The characters definitely feel like the characters from Pride and Prejudice. It satisfied my wish to read more about these characters.
