About the author

Sarina Miller teaches and develops art and design history courses with an emphasis on visual literacy, cultural context, and the incorporation of interdisciplinary aspects. Some of her current research interests include cinematic design and the cross-cultural artistic influences between Japan and the West from the mid-nineteenth to the mid-twentieth century. She holds a master’s degree in art history from Temple University.
