Ratings and reviews

Far too much on the rules and procedures of being in the police, which after a while becomes rather repetative. I was hoping for something like Homicide by David Simon, I was very disappointed.

Just a great read. Well-written, balanced and insightful.

Peter Moskos is assistant professor of law, police science, and criminal justice administration at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and at the City University of New York's Doctoral Program in Sociology. He is a former Baltimore City police officer.
