About this ebook

Following Peter Newman’s brilliant debut THE VAGRANT, is the much-anticipated sequel THE MALICE.

In the south, the Breach stirs.

Gamma’s sword, the Malice, wakes, calling to be taken to battle once more.

But the Vagrant has found a home now, made a life and so he turns his back, ignoring its call.

The sword cries out, frustrated, until another answers.

Her name is Vesper.

Uniquely written. Usually don't have time, but read it in one sitting regardless of time. After reading The Vagrant, couldn't wait to read this one. Thank you, Peter, for getting this story out of your head and for a refreshing viewpoint.

A good sequel, but it felt rushed in places. This seems intentional, as the main character becomes rapidly carried off by the story, but it also felt a little confusing in parts. The writing style is highly descriptive, so the rush felt out of place and uncharacteristic. Overall, a good story that I felt compelled to continue. I'm looking forward to starting book three.

Does a good job of picking up where The Vagrant left off and setting the stage for the third book. Like The Vagrant, the story telling feels very different than other novels, and tastes will likely differ, but if you enjoyed The Vagrant, I think you will enjoy this.
