As a whole, this book was a wonderful adventure into the world of Peter Pan. That being said, it is quite different from the classic Disney film--the book is much darker. Thus, I cannot decide whether I really like or dislike this book. It is a wonderful story that will make you think. If you are not opposed to viewing Neverland in a darker light, I would definitely recommend giving this story a try.

A very good story more in depth and heart warming. I have seen the Disney movie of Peter pan as well. The book is better than the movie though. Hook is much more ferocious in the book and Peter so very different in appearance in the book than the movie but I like his appearance in the movie not the book. I think they did a play on him on nbc as well. I heard the play sucked and I think it was stupid he was played by a girl.Peter pan is one of my most favorite disney characters and I wish I could be with him

I've always loved the story of Peter Pan. I loved the Disney movie as a child and the movie, Hook, with Robin Williams playing Peter Pan all grown up. I am so glad I finally read this great book. It give a grander picture of Neverland and the details of each character are so well written. It is difficult to decide on a favorite character. A great story for anyone who's ever thought they might not ever want to grow up.
