Researching the novel, I went along with a paranormal team on a number of investigations. I started off skeptical but quickly changed my mind. Canadian dark fiction author William Blackwell studied journalism at Calgary's Mount Royal University and English literature at Vancouver's University of British Columbia. He worked as a journalist and a newspaper editor for many years before pursuing his passion for storytelling.
