About the author
Philip Kaplan, formerly a book designer with Harper & Row and art director with Playboy and Atlanta magazines, has written, coauthored, or designed twenty books, including One Last Look, Little Friends, Fighter Pilot, Night and Day Bomber Offensive, and Fighter Aces of the Luftwaffe in World War II.
