Pioneer Desire (The O'Rourke Family Montana Saga Book 2) by Ramona Flightner is a historical romance set in Fort Benton, Montana Territory, in 1865. I love the O'Rourke family, who are a large and endearing family. I found myself wanting to know more details about each family member. Ardan O'Rourke, the oldest son, helped raise his other siblings. He works in the O'Rourke family business. Deirdre Finnegan, who is an excellent cook, recently arrived at Fort Benton. They are attracted to each other. Both Ardan and Deirdre have suffered losses in their lives. Will they both be able to overcome these losses and become a couple? Pioneer Desire is the second book in this new series. Ramona Flightner offers romance, mystery, intrigue, and twists and turns in this book. I can hardly wait for the next book to come out. I received this as an ARC read being a member of the author's team. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
