space explorers have been selected from military and non-military personnel.
They are headed to a newly discovered planet. It is the hope that they will
find that the planet is able to support life from earth and colonization can
began. Their problems began from almost the moment they set out. They encounter
personal threats, attack from enemy ships, and sabotage. The ships drive engine
has developed a crack and is emitting a strange glow. It seems they may be
affected by it. Suddenly they are in a race for survival! They hope they can
just get there! On the planet there is a primitive, but intelligent race of
beings. They have their own set of problems, and particularly one who has been
ousted by the tribe Chief. This one, now all alone, just hopes to survive!
