The author reflects on his life as it is affected by days of celebration such as Independence Day, Easter and Christmas.

Dr. Tony Tripodi is a former dean of the College of Social Work, Ohio State University; and is now Professor Emeritus. He is the editor of Oxford University Press’ successful series of Pocket Guides to Social Work Research Methods. This is his fourth book of poems.
