This is the first book I've read by Portia MacIntosh. I loved it. I laughed out loud and rolled my eyes, but dad jokes do that to a person. It had a great storyline and easy to like characters. The whole time I was wondering where the author was taking this story and which character would be the mystery guy. A slow burn romance that I completely enjoyed reading. I didn't want to put it down.

Gigi needs a date for her sister’s Hawaiian wedding—especially since her ex is the best man, and his new girlfriend a reality TV star. A hotel room mix-up leads to a luxurious upgrade, where Gigi is pampered like royalty. Will this twist of fate deliver the perfect wedding date? What a fun book! This heartwarming rom com has likeable characters and an engaging plot. The audiobook narration by Karen Cass is like a breath of fresh air. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC.
