About this eBook

We all have the ability to improve our brain, to enhance our thought process into a machine that will reduce stress and increase our ability to be happy and satisfied. It just takes a little practice.

About the author

Called "Cricket" by most of his friends and colleagues, Paul Daniel Jacob was one of eight children raised in a rural Wisconsin farming community. A natural born observer, he continues to be fascinated by the people and things around him. Paul's inquisitiveness inspired his college course menu of psychology, philosophy, logic, religion and journalism. ~Not too helpful on the average job resume, but certainly providing a well-rounded foundation for the observation and interpretation of this strange planet and it's inhabitants. Travels to underdeveloped countries provided even broader perspectives on culture and behavior.

Paul is an active advocate for many social justice causes and serves on several committees and advisory boards. He has also worked extensively in the field of HIV/AIDS prevention since that disease emerged in the 1980's. Fortunately, the serious community service that occupies much of Paul's time doesn't interfere with his spontaneous sense of humor. Once the class clown in high school, he refuses to relinquish the title. And his circle of friends often bear the brunt of his good natured practical jokes and barbed quips. "Wanna kill'em, gotta lov'em," says friend, Ken Fuller.
