She has lived, studied, worked, and traveled in Portugal and Brazil over the past twenty-five years. Tyson-Ward is also an examiner of Portuguese in the United Kingdom and has acted as a consultant to the BBC's acclaimed Talk Portuguese TV series. She currently teaches college in the United Kingdom.
