सबसे पहले आप यह मानें कि आपने सचमुच में इस मुद्दे पर गंभीरता से विचार नहीं किया है और फिर पूरी सहजता से पूछें; ‘क्या मैं अमीर बन सकता हूँ?’ हाँ; यह चिंतन-प्रक्रिया थोड़ी जटिल है; इसलिए न तो मन में उठ रहे भावों की तह में जाने से घबराएँ और न ही जल्दबाजी करें। खुद को सहज व संयत रखें और बस अपने विचारों को साक्षी भाव से देखें। ‘साक्षी भाव’ वह मनोदशा है; जब हम खुद के विचारों को बिना किसी पूर्वग्रह के खुद से अलग रखते हुए ‘गवाह’ (साक्षी) की तरह देखते हैं। यह वही स्थिति है; जब आप किसी घटना को उसमें शामिल हुए बिना ही देखते हैं। जब आप ऐसा करेंगे तो सब साफ होना शुरू हो जाएगा कि आपने अब तक ‘खुद’; ‘सफलता’ में कौन-कौन सी बाधाएँ खड़ी की हुई थीं। यह भी संभव है कि आपको लगे कि आपने इस मुद्दे पर इतनी गंभीरता से पहले कभी सोचा भी नहीं था। यदि ऐसा नहीं होता तो आप अमीरी-यात्रा पर कब के निकल चुके होते। खैर; इस प्रक्रिया को अब शुरू होना था तो अब सही।
