Kelly Sue DeConnick is a writer, of comic books mostly. She lives in Portland, OR, with her husband, writer Matt Fraction and two kids, Henry Leo and Tallulah Louise. Her new book for Image Comics is called Pretty Deadly with artist Emma Rios. She's also writes Captain Marvel and Avengers Assemble for Marvel and Ghost for Dark Horse Comics.

Emma Ríos (born 1976 in Vilagarcía de Arousa, Pontevedra, Spain) is a Spanish comics artist who has worked in both the European and American comics markets. Her artwork had also appeared in such titles as Runaways, Amazing Spider-Man, and Girl Comics. She also drew the miniseries Osborn, written by Kelly Sue DeConnick, in addition to working on a new book with DeConnick, Pretty Deadly, which debuted from Image Comics in October 2013.
