I just love a good retelling of beauty and the beast and this book has just made it into my top ten favorites. It was a super well-written book that pulled me in and had me hooked right from the beginning. This is the first book in the series and I will definitely be checking out the rest. I would recommend it to everyone.

I fell in love with the first book I read of Ms. Davis which was "Secret Acquisitions" and was so excited to start up another billionaire bad boy series. I absolutely love the male MC Gideon take charge attitude that could be "beastly" at times but Tess knew how to handle him. Tess was a strong character but had some vulnerability that was so realistic. These two characters mesh well together and I love there wasn't any pussyfooting around on how they felt about each other. Especially Gideon...he laid it all out there and Tess gave it back as good as he did. Ms. Davis' story telling is spectacular with the right amount of heat and romance to keep it a page turner. This story gave us a good lead in to the next book. I can't wait to read Cassian and Victoria's story in the next book in the series.
