Great action thriller. The author does a good job at making Luke, the protagonist a very likeable and relatable character. He cares about his family (wife & unborn baby) as well as the mission at hand. However the action scenes here aren't upto the mark, the author does a half decent job at describing the scenes - it feels like there was more to it but the author either forgot to tell the rest or he didn't care about telling. For example the part where Luke finally catches upto rescuing the daughter of the POTUS there was got to be a lot of guns blazing and action but nothing. Just that he caught up to her kept her somewhere safe a few gun fights and then BOOM! Over. It was the last fight scene surely the author could have written some more action scenes. Other than that book was very enjoyable

Another good, but not exceptional, read by Mars. As he sets the bar so high if he's a little off he misses his always high mark. Primary Target explains the beginning of the Delta Force team where Luke Strong and Ed Newsam come together for the first time. The foundation of their exceptional relationship is laid while they battle terrorists and save the President's daughter from them. This book is almost more of a chronological explanation of Delta Force - spiced up with heart stopping drama and what we have come to expect as usual Mars twists. Anything written by Mars though is a must read.

New to this author but I will read more of his work. The hero of the book is a larger than life trained killing machine and the plot is one of many twists. Okay it's a bit of a stretch some times but it is very much a fun read. I enjoyed every page
