I first picked up this book almost a full decade ago- as a dorky 12 year old it really spoke to me, and now as a grown woman and EMT, this book is still just as funny and charming as I remember it. (Though now I can say with confidence that that is NOT how CPR works.) That said, this continues to be a fun and whimsical read with great character development and a refreshing change of pace from the traditionally bland YA heroine.
