This meeting of the PERT Coordination Task Group was opened on Thursday, 17 March 1960, by Captain Kenneth M. Tebo, USN, Head of the Program Evaluation Branch, Special Projects Office. A welcome was also extended to the Task Group by Mr. W.R. Griswold, Manager of Sperry's Marine Division, and by Captain O.N. Fowler, Special Projects Office Technical Representative, resident in Sperry's Marine Division at Syosset, Long Island. The meeting was directed primarily toward a review of the PERT system in operation at FBM contractors and at non-POLARIS activities. In addition, a proposed plan for decentralized PERT computer operation was presented and discussed.
