I love a small town vibe in books, and this one did not disappoint. Grace is newly arrived in town, and everyone is in her business. Not easily accepted when she has to make a stand. An interesting book with a theme of domestic violence, but retains an uplifting feel nonetheless.

A sweet story about of victim of domestic abuse who runs away to start a new life. Things take a turn for the worse when she suspects one of her students is being abused. The truth prevails and there is a happy ending. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Promise of Grace is beautifully written and I was entertained and encouraged by Jodi's amazingly real characters facing real-life kinds of struggles. There's depth to her books and I always feel hope when I finish the story. I loved this book and you will too!
