My hero. Kevin is truly an amazing man and deserves songs written in his honor. Ember is lucky he found her at her lowest and raised her up to walk on stormy seas. I really enjoyed Ember and Kevin's story! It's well written, a good plot with great characters. The story is fairly fast paced and quick read. Their story reminds me somewhat of a Cinderella story. Ember has had a tough life. She has done the best she can. She manages to get tied up with a not so good guy and finds her self on the street in England with no food, no money and no place to live. This was a great story and definitely different than I thought it would be. Bridget aka Ember was down on her luck and busking in a London street when she was spotted by wealthy hotel owner, Kevin. Loads of drama but lots of romance and steamy moments for sure. I liked the slow build of the relationship. The steam started immediately but the real love in the relationship took its time.
