Each and everyone of the stories in this series, grasp you from the moment you start them. All have alpha male and strong female characters. In all their alpha mode , their are very protective and sweet. This one is no different and just as engaging. Vincent Hansen, former Navy SEAL and member of Red Stone Security, and Jordan Alvarado, have a history. Seven years ago , they were in love but when she suddenly disappears, he was left heartbroken and shocked. She had reasons to disappear he never had known. When she reappears he is still mad, and fears she will break his heart again. When she’s threatened he steps in to keep her safe. The plot is engaging, the characters complex and the romance hot. There are moments with family members that will also bring a smile. The narrator, Sophie Eastlake does an excellent job with the delivery. Another great addition to the Red Stone Security series. I was gifted this audiobook. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
