The pair must track down the chest before its thief discovers the secret that will allow him to unlock it, thereby unleashing its terrible contents onto the world of Krynn.

DOUGLAS W. CLARK has been a full-time nonfiction writer and editor most of his professional life, and has written a number of science fiction and fantasy novels and short stories, including Saving Solace, his recent novel set in the Dragonlance universe and published by Wizards of the Coast. He has also worked as an environmental consultant, a laboratory director, and a lecturer, and teacher.
