Pelham Grenville Wodehouse, known affectionately as P. G. Wodehouse, was an English author and one of the most widely read humorists of the 20th century. Born on October 15, 1881, in Guildford, England, his literary career spanned over seventy years, during which he delighted readers with his masterly crafted prose, memorable characters, and whimsical plots.
