The book is a sequel to "Mike," the first novel of the series, and continues the adventures of cricket-loving Mike Jackson and his immaculately dressed friend Psmith, first encountered in "Mike." In this novel, Mike and Psmith find a new job with the "New Asiatic Bank" and strive to excel there, not forgetting about the greatest passion of their lives - cricket.
