Princess Khione travels to Agraunia with Gerda and Kai, in order to protect those who sheltered her from her wicked mother, Queen Eleanor. Paula M. Hunter was born in the UK and spent a number of her childhood years living in other parts of the globe. As a child, she loved to write fictional stories and poems. She studied and graduated, after many gap years, from the University of Life.

An avid reader of many genres and a lover of classic stories since a child, she enjoys writing stories which include elements of history, mythology, folklore, legends and humour. She is an animal lover and particularly has a fondness for cats.
