This book does not offer complete coverage of A+ test topics. Ive purchased this book, the A+ exam guide by Mike Meyers 9th edition (McGraw Hill Edu.) and Exam Cram practice questions by David L. Prowse (all CompTIA approved quality content). After cross- referencing the practice exam questions with both exam guides only the Mike Meyers book covered more ground and depth in lieu with the exam cram questions (e.g. CPU clock-multipliers and the M/Ts of DDR4 RAM are mentioned in those books but NOT in this one to name a critical few. I checked. Those are enough misses on relevent test subject-matters to fail an expensive test. Ive failed it twice). If the student who values their time committed to study and learning the material to pass the test wants to get their investment return don't get this edition. This book in its current form needs to update to a fourth edition and cover more material that's actually likely to be on the test like its rivals.

Excellent book. I wouldn't recommend picking this book up if you don't have a decent understanding of computers though. If that's the case, you should go with the book by Mike Meyers.
