Life comes with no guidelines, just questions so its easy for people to find them self lost. However, theres a saying for every question there is an answer, so people live out their lives in search of it. What if there was a book that contain all, some, or even just one of the answers to your lifes questions, wouldnt it interest you to just pick it up and read it? Quicksand was created on nothing but lifes experiences, which deals with decision making, judgment, love and many more. Quicksand is very powerful with deep thoughts. Though Quicksand may not be for everyone but author Jamel Gross truly believe anyone could gain something from it. Dont let the opportunity of a question go unanswered or a deep thought left without being understood when clearly what you need to know could just be a page away.

Jamel Gross has a very passionate and inspirational style of writing, formed by the many experiences and challenges he’s faced through his journey of life. Despite his success in his previously book, Behind my Shadow: Seeing through Poetry, he still manage to mentor a group of teens and express to others the importance of positive change. Additionally, he hopes to open up a teen center for at risk youth in his home town area of Prince George’s County, Maryland.
