RENNYR is an 80K word novel and can be read as a standalone. KYDEN is the first book in the series.

Ratings and reviews

I bought the first 3 books together, in one volume but I'm reviewing each book independently. I'm hooked on the concept of the Badari, as a storyline, which I find fascinating but I skipped over the clichéd, repetitive sex scenes, once again, in this second book and found the writing style poor, as in bad grammar and insufficient punctuation to make sense of the flow. Both books began well but almost seemed to have been handed over to less capable writers, at a certain point. I'm interested to see how the storyline of the third book fits in but I'll probably stop reading the series after that. There has been a pleasant 'feel-good factor' at the end of each book though, which I basked in. Triumph over adversity - yay!
