About this ebook

Many Christians understand what they believe about salvation, but they rarely know why they believe what they believe. In order to have a sure foundation to weather the storms of untruth being generated in our culture today, it is imperative that Christians work through their own salvation using a genuine source of truth. Rigged for the Journey is a book that will help all Christians work through their salvation and understand their position, progression, and perfection in Christ utilizing a biblical foundation. It will help believers look at life from God’s perspective as they seek to life for Christ on this side of Heaven.

About the author

Ron Alexander is a serious student of the Word of God, who has a desire to share the Gospel with those God places in his path. He believes that the Bible is the Word of God to man and through the ministry of the Holy Spirit is capable of changing any life (Romans 1:16). Ron desires to see believers move from a life of mediocrity to a transformed life that will allow the world to see Jesus. Realizing that evangelism and discipleship go hand in hand, Ron personally shares his faith and actively mentors those who have a desire to grow in Christ. Like the Apostle Paul, his desire is to "present every man perfect in Christ Jesus" (Colossians 1:28b). Ron is married to his soul mate Kathie Alexander, and they have three children, Amanda, Natalie, and Cody. Ron finished his Master's Degree in Biblical Studies from Luther Rice Seminary in 1994. Though never felt led into full-time vocational ministry, he has been faithful to Christian Discipleship since his salvation experience in 1982. Ron's desire is that God will find him faithful in his own journey in Christ on this side of Heaven.
