About the author

Rimli Bhattacharya is a first-class gold medalist in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology with an MBA in supply chain management. Having worked in the corporate sector for twenty years, she realized writing was her true calling. She left her high-profile job as a General Manager at a multinational in 2017 to pursue her passion, i.e. writing. She has contributed to two anthologies, namely A Book of Light under a pseudo-name, Leela Chakraborty, edited by Jerry Pinto and published by Speaking Tigers and Muffled Moans, edited by Dr. Santosh Bakaya and Lopamudra Banerjee and published by Authorspress. Her works have appeared in 29 literary magazines & E-Zines like The Education Post, Café Dissensus, Feminism in India and Women’s Web. As a little girl, she wrote short fictions and poems for The Times of India. She is also a trained Indian Classical dancer.
She is associated with Nirant Mental Health Clinic, which is headed by renowned psychiatrist Dr. Bharati Patil, where she voluntarily works for mentally ill patients. Rimli is also co-authoring a book on Mental Illness in collaboration with Dr. Bharati. She is currently based out of Mumbai, where she stays with her father and daughter.
