About this ebook

Aconspiracy thriller in which an ex-priest is drawn into an ancient conflict between the church and a historical religious order.

To find the truth, one must first uncover the lies . . .

When a Catholic priest hangs himself at the Pope’s inauguration in St. Peter’s Square, his friend, Professor Alex Harker, is dragged into a secret war.

The suicide sets into motion a timetable of terrifying events that will irrevocably change the world as we know it. With the clock ticking, pursued by a deadly assassin, Harker must track down and decipher pieces of a puzzle laid down by the dead priest.

Harker finds himself in an epic battle—one that has been playing out on the fringes of society since the birth of Christ. It threatens to reveal a truth so shocking that it could enslave and transform mankind’s destiny forever.

A rip-roaring thriller fuller of twists and action, perfect for readers of Dan Brown, Scott Mariani and Chris Kuzneski.

I can't remember reading, or rather starting to read, a book that was so silly, badly constructed, and sloppily written. I feel ashamed for Rugby that it apparently turned out a writer so far below even the level of Dan Brown. The only thing to be said for it is that you get a great many pages for little money: but then, I suppose being so cheap is a clear indicator of its quality.

Yup, while reading, it reminds me of Da Vinci Code and a bit of "Payne and Jones adventure". It's actually not bad, hence the four stars. I just felt that there're many unnecessary deaths (events that were not very logical). Also when the bad guys "reveal" their plan, their speech were long-winded.
