When the thing you promised you wouldn't do is the thing you end up doing, there are two options: 1) Deny, deny & never do it again, OR 2) Do it again, and again, and again until you think the temptation would go away. Elise takes option two, but soon realises that she may never get her fill of Luke. Not only is no longer the player she knew in college, but he's quickly become *gasp* boyfriend material. In-between dealing with her friends and her family, Elise must now decide if she and Luke are to remain each other's dirty secret. For the most part I enjoyed this hot & sexy romance book. The banter and chemistry between Luke & Elise was naturally cultivated and crafted. I know that there are some parents who are quite horrible, but I felt that the religious aspect was a bit overdone. However, I still recommend this as a good book to read. The group of friends are a totally cool bunch I could see myself hanging out with. I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.

Luke is a player. Elise wants him, but doesn’t want to admit to herself that she does. She has since college. They are thrown together for dinner and alcohol takes over and they spend the night together. It’s supposed to be a one night thing, but then they start texting and talking and become friends. Elise realizes that Luke is not the same guy he was in college.

A great insight are different types of relationships. Great amount of side stories with friends to make the story line more interesting. And definitely hot sex scenes! Great read!

When they met in college, they bonded over their love of reading and the TV show Charmed. What really spiced up their friendship was when Lara introduced Renae to romance novels. When they discovered their first vampire romance, they knew there would always be a special place in their hearts for paranormal romance.
