About this ebook

The Requiem

"Why are you here it is not respectful to the dead or family and friends, Mortimer, you can't be here," said the dead man's best friend to a grim reaper who he knew was the soul of the dead man. "It's my party I can be here, Mass," said the drunk reaper. "You're drunk, you shouldn't come in," said Max Starfire. "I'm not drunk! I didn't know you had a twin?" said the reaper looking at an invisible nonexistent man induced by drink. "I don't I'm an only child," said Max nervously as the reaper pushed passed him. Mortimer sat with his widow, she knew who he was, it was awkward. "We are here to celebrate the life of the dearly departed Blake Alexander," said the Reverend in charge of the funeral, who looked at the wailing reaper with suspicion.

Memento Mori

The unnamed Mortimer, the king of the Grim Reapers, tells the story of how he promised to protect the son of a friend who died long before the Magicians came out.

He appears to him as a friend when the son's relatives die at their funeral, and as a friend when he needs one.

He becomes the ultimate Memento Mori.

An adventure of a lifetime.

Also in book 2 songs based on them (lyrics only)
