About this ebook

Sign: Capricorn

Erica Silver will do whatever it takes to build a life for her and the young son she’s raising alone. As a single mother, she’s paying her way toward her degree as an exotic dancer, and she won’t let anyone tell her how to live her life—especially not some handsome, conceited Greek stranger.

Billionaire entrepreneur Tito Makris needs to fulfill his best friend’s last wish of taking care of his illegitimate son. When he finds out his friend’s son is being raised by an exotic dancer, it’s clear to Tito there’s only one option. The boy needs to move to Greece and claim his multi-billion euro inheritance. But the trustees of his friend’s estate are sticklers for propriety. While they’ll accept the boy, his unmarried, British, pole-dancing mother isn’t going to be welcomed.

Erica can’t deny her son his legacy, but a marriage of convenience to a conceited billionaire is a little unconventional, even for her. The chemistry between them is off the charts, but chemistry isn’t enough to build a relationship where there’s no trust.

Erica is a "fierce" mama lion. Whatever it takes to protect her son and make him happy is her top priority. The means she had to go to in order to make that possible made me sad. She was determined to succeed on her own. Tito irked me. He was so dictatorial. His way was the best way. I would have rebelled too. In the beginning the story was a little dull but as it went on it got better. Erica's fighting spirit, Tito's arrogant attitude and promise to a friend combined to make The Greek Tycoon's Tarnished Bride by Rachel Lyndhurst into a story that turned out better than it began. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this one! It's a very well done marriage of convenience story with great characters and pace that has you reading page after page. Tito Makris is stuck between doing what he thinks is right and fulfilling a promise made to his now deceased best friend. Now to convince Erica Silver, the mother of his best friends son, that marrying him and coming with him to Crete is the best thing to do. He doesn't want to go through the courts to take the boy away from his mother, so this seems like the best thing to do. Erica may not share his opinion though! The one thing that does convince her though is the safety of her son. If the people who killed his father try to go after her son she will be defenseless, so she agrees to Tito's plan. She's not sure if she's made a deal with the devil or made the best decision of her life! This is a fun read and I highly recommend it.
